We are delighted to tell you about the exciting future of our museum!
We are moving to bigger brighter and better premises.
After 30 years in Upper brook Street we have outgrown the site and for some time have been looking for somewhere in Ulverston to carry on the good work. At last the ideal site is available and can now announce the move is imminent. Hopefully some time in September.
We will make the story of Stan and Oliver easier to follow with information boards and photographs explaining the massive collection and the lives of the boys. The cinema will be much larger with a bigger screen and show films and documentries all day. Free parking on site will make access much easier and finding us will be simpler, just look for Booths supermarket and we will be close by.
We aim to keep the unique atmosphere, friendliness and fun but instead of chaos it will be organised chaos.
In the meantime we are open as usual. Come and see us before and/or after the move and enjoy the lives of Laurel and Hardy.
